KPMS SOCIETY
Our Organization was formed in 1982 under the Registration Societies Act. The lack of literacy, as well as the people's backward and marginalized living conditions in K.K Pudur hamlet and the neighboring areas, prompted the establishment of this organization. Keeping this in mind, we began our effort, and after ten years of struggle and considerable hardships, we played an important part in bringing road connectivity and basic bus services to K.K Pudur and surrounding villages. As a result of a lack of appropriate facilities for learning, middle and high school buildings were built in K.K Pudur village and given over for school establishment.
Following this, since 2001, a shelter for children with disabilities has been started here, providing food, clothing, shelter, life skills development, education, and medical care to many disabled children. Continuing this work, we have also provided food, clothing, shelter, life skills development, education, and medical care to normal children, single-parent children, and children from marginalized communities in the surrounding villages. For the past two years, through our efforts, a home for the elderly has also
been established for the welfare of senior citizens.
So far, we have provided many services to the people to the best of our ability, and we will continue to serve the community by taking on our social responsibility.
